Warranty

THE FOLLOWING ARE EXCLUDED FROM THE GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• Failure to apply the use & care manual correctly.
• Change of purpose or function of the product.
• Damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, abuse, or commercial use.
• Scratches, stains, discoloration, corrosion, or damage from overheating, to the interior or exterior of the pan. This also includes the non-stick coating.
• Neglect or improper cleaning.
• Dishwasher usage.
• Alteration of the product.
• Scratches on cooktops, kitchen countertops or other surfaces due to dragging of the cookware.
• Dropping or any other impact.
• Consequential damage is expressly excluded from this warranty.

If you purchased directly from BergHOFF Worldwide and wish to claim under this warranty, please contact our BergHOFF Worldwide customer service department: ww.cc@berghoffworldwide.com.

Please provide us all relevant information regarding your claim: 

• a valid proof of purchase at berghoffworldwide.com with date of purchase (including received as a gift).
• the product SKU and name
• the production codes (a marking of a letter and a number, e.g. K15) often found on the bottom of your product
• a full description and photos of the problem

Please contact the dealer or distribution channel where you purchased your BergHOFF product to inquire about warranty claims, following their terms and conditions and in accordance with local legislation.

BergHOFF guarantees a limited lifetime warranty* on the cast iron enamelled cookware from the date of purchase and first user.

 *The following are excluded from the terms and conditions of the warranty:

• See general terms and conditions.
• The Limited lifetime warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
• Enamel coating: 2-year warranty on enamel coating.
• (Themo)knobs/handles/glass lids: 2-year warranty (purchased as single item or part of cookware set).
• Expiration of warranty time: 30-year after date purchase.

BergHOFF guarantees a limited lifetime warranty* on all stainless steel cookware from the date of purchase and first user.

*The following are excluded from the terms and conditions of the warranty:

• • See general terms and conditions.
  • A Slight yellowing of the surface can occasionally happen after heating. This is completely harmless and does not affect the performance of the pan and is therefore excluded from the warranty.
  • Multiply cookware: Grey wear or slight abrasion of the aluminium due to aluminium corrosion.
  • The Limited lifetime warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
  • Non-stick coating: 2-year warranty on the non-stick coating.
  • (Themo)knobs/handles/glass lids: 2-year warranty (purchased as single item or part of cookware set).
  • Expiration of warranty time: 30-year after date purchase.
  • Cookware items made with a different body material (e.g. aluminium) included in the stainless steel cookware set. Please refer to warranty of the correct body material.

*The following are excluded from the terms and conditions of the warranty:

  • Cracks or damage from overheating, to the interior or exterior. This also includes the glazing.
  • Neglect or improper cleaning as described in our use & care manual:
  • Consequential cracks or breakage due to fine internal hairlines caused by earlier dropping or impact of the product.

*The following are excluded from the terms and conditions of the warranty:

  • Neglect or improper cleaning.
  • Fly rust due to dishwasher usage together with items in other metals.

BergHOFF guarantees a 2-year warranty* on all stainless steel coated / plated / enameled / multi-material flatware from the date of purchase and first user.

*The following are excluded from the terms and conditions of the warranty:

• • See general terms and conditions.
  • Neglect or improper cleaning by dishwasher usage.
  • Fly rust due to dishwasher usage together with items in other metals.

BergHOFF guarantees a 2-year warranty* on the BBQ items from the date of purchase and first user.

*The following are excluded from the terms and conditions of the warranty:

• • See general terms and conditions.
  • Scratches, stains, discoloration, corrosion or damage from overheating, to the interior or exterior. This also includes the enamel coating.
  • Any damage or breakage due to dropping or impact the BBQ.
  • The Crazing effect that can appear on the outside enamel (see use & care for more info.)
  • Breakage of the ceramic due to humidity, frost damage, or other storage and weather conditions.
  • Discoloration of the inside surface after heating. This is completely harmless and does not affect the performance of the BBQ and is therefore excluded from the warranty.
