BergHOFF Worldwide has won two of this year’s iF DESIGN AWARDS, the world-renowned design prize. The winning products, Leo Balance cookware and Leo Phantom cookware, were recognized in the ‘product’ discipline, under the category ‘kitchen’. Each year, the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF DESIGN AWARD. Leo Balance cookware and Leo Phantom cookware impressed the 132-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, with their impact, differentiation and form. The competition was fierce, with almost 11,000 entries submitted from 72 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality.

LEO BALANCE COOKWARE

Leo Balance is the inaugural series within BergHOFF’s sustainability strategy, embodying the perfect mix between performance, health and sustainability. Made with recycled aluminium and featuring BergHOFF’s (PFAS-free) CeraGreen non-stick coating, Leo Balance stands as a testament to eco-conscious design. Available in two stylish tones: ‘Moonmist’-grey and ‘Sage’-green, Leo Balance cookware caters to diverse tastes. This lightweight and vibrant series is effortlessly manageable and comes equipped with a clear glass lid for convenient monitoring of your culinary creations. Moreover, the lids come with an integrated straining function and feature a knob with a spoon rest function and a silicone rim to minimize rattling. Additionally, the stay-cool handles of the pots and pans ensure enhanced comfort and safety.

LEO PHANTOM COOKWARE

The Leo Phantom pots and pans are made with recycled cast aluminium, boasting a functional blend of highquality materials and innovative, minimalistic design. The lightweight body ensures easy handling and is coated with BergHOFF’s healthy (PFAS-free) Ceragreen coating, offering exceptional and sustainable non-stick properties making it the ideal choice for low fat cooking. Moreover, Leo Phantom cookware is engineered for energy-efficient cooking, utilising the optimal conductivity of aluminium and the full disk bottom, ensuring rapid and even heating without hot spots. The lids are equipped with integrated self-basting bumps, strategically designed to trap and redistribute condensation, releasing the moisture back onto the food for a more flavourful dish. Additionally, the lids feature an integrated straining function for added convenience.

The removable silicone sleeves on the casseroles and sauté pan ensure you to safely take pots out of the oven and to safely strain boiling water. The detachable handles on frying pans and grill pan guarantee optimal space-saving storage and easy oven use creating the perfect oven dish by removing the handle single handedly! The sleekly designed Leo Phantom pots and pans, along with their lids, are oven proof up to 230°C / 446°F (when detachable handle is removed). Additionally, the saucepan, pancake pan, and wok feature fixed handles and can withstand oven temperatures up to 180°C / 356°F, perfect for keeping food warm. Leo Phantom cookware is compatible with all cooktops, including induction and exhaust downdraft systems. As unique in design, as versatile in use!
